Courtney Robertson makes her debut in the Fringe Artist Collection with a series of deeply personal and symbolic works that explore the highs and lows of the Western way of life. With roots in agriculture and a gift for storytelling through brush and color, her art captures emotion, movement, and meaning in every detail.

The Sting of Reality freezes a powerful moment in time—a cowboy mid-air, thrown from a bronc in a split-second twist of fate. Inspired by ranch bronc riders and one cowboy in particular, this piece captures the raw truth of the arena: sometimes, you hit the dirt. Scorpions in each corner drive home the sting of defeat, while the cowboy’s form still holds the tension of resolve—because in the rodeo world, there’s always another ride.

Printed on 14mm satin silk and finished with a hand-rolled hem, this scarf is a bold, emotional tribute to the resilience of the Western spirit. Limited edition.
